Here’s my line: Antibiotics
Antibiotics are the only drug that should need a prescription and regulation. Why? Because the misuse of antibiotics causes organism resistance which endangers everyone.
Other than that, no line is needed.
The Mexicans have anti-biotics over the counter. And they don't seem to be developing resistance.
My theory is that resistance is caused more by under prescribing antibioltics which leads to failure to knock out the organism and allows their spread. It's failure to follow up and make sure the organism is defeated.
