Honest question- I am a Yankees fan, living in MN.

Why do they hate A-Rod? Because of his money? It seems like the whole world hates him. Like the Demo-haters and conservatives alike. Is it jealousy?

A-Rod is very damaged goods. His history with the Yankees has been marked by strange off and on the field behavior. For example, his barking out a sound when the Toronto Blue Jays 3rd baseman was attempting to catch a pop fly. Or when he tomahawked the ball out of the Red Sox player’s glove while running to first base. Or his incredible claim that he only used anabolic steroids during the 3 years while he played for the Rangers. No one believes his stories, and he exudes a lack of class and tremendous amount of insecurity. While he won the Yankees a WS ring in ‘09, the rest of his tenure has been strange, at best, and dishonest at its worst. Yankees fans have always recognized the guy is a distraction, a cheater, and all about ME.

Mostly because AROD is a JERK.

In addition to that, he is overpaid cheater.

He has almost always been a no show in the post season. He chokes.

He is the epitome of what is wrong with baseball.

He’s an over-paid, arrogant drug-using has been who’s poison in the clubhouse. He is a negative on almost all fronts.
