It goes back farther than 1982. People either forget or they just don't know, but we got here because of the past and it's helpful to know and understand the hows and the whys.

The progressives have been working US over at least since Teddy Roosevelt, in both parties, in war and in peace.

When you look at the history, you might be shocked and amazed to see the very obvious ways we got here.
