I agree. [Romney] had a chance to win, and pi88ed it away listening to Rove & co.

That, coupled with the fact that 0bama, committing an impeachable offense, stole the election outright, by (among other things) illegally using the IRS to crush the most potent electoral opposition...

Yeah sure same as McCrazy.

Next nut job the RINO establishment is about to hoist upon us?

One hint: Christy

Listen closely people at what he says
About government control, gun control, immigration, personal freedom. He is talking just like Nero did when he started campaigning in 08

Just curious, were there any FReepers pulling for Romney in the Primaries? I don’t recall a single one.

I will admit to Voting Romney in the General against the Mulatto Marxist, but I am one who follows the Levin Rule.

Romneycare-Obamacare epic fail.

no more voting for the lesser of 2 evils for me. Once the lib Repub gets elected he/she screws the Conservative. Once the lib Repub gets defeated he/she screws the Conservative.

Romney should leave fellow Republicans alone. He should be shouting to the rooftops the failures of Hillary Hildebeast, Joe Biteme and Zer0. Romney should be calling for the impeachment of Eric Holder. He should be calling the Obama Syndicate out for the Commies they are. And, when he has run out of ideas, listen to Mark Levin and get into his Constitutional issues that need support.

Instead, Romney acts like he is barely paying attention. He is too absorbed into his own candy-ass life to care a damn about his nation.

I was pulling for Newt. Americans do not recognize brilliance when they see it. They just suck the pablum fed them by the Lame Stream Media.

You wrote it better than I could, my hat’s off to you.

But also remember, conservatives have mostly have no clue on fiscal matters, which is what is killing this great country. We are already slaves to China and Japan because the Trillions we owe them can never be paid back in principle, we will be making interest payments on Treasury bonds they own for eternity. Our young generations are doomed for sure.

As liberal as Romney is on social matters, he at least knows something about growing business and economy. The community organizer from Chicago never ran even a hot dog stand at profit. We deserve the pain since the voters elected the socialist aided by massive vote fraud.

Cherry, you’ve really got to stop blaming your fellow Americans for Obama winning a second term. It was not their fault.

The turncoat GOP-e ensured that we’d wind up with the weakest nominee possible, which put us in the position of having to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea. The result was exactly as the ruling class planned.

If we’d had an even reasonably passable conservative to vote for, Obama would have gone down in flames.

To: Republican1795.

That is EXACTLY what happened.

We went full Soviet in the 2012 national elections.

Romney was the Ruling Class pick to give the illusion of choice to the duped masses to ensure His Heinous Obama remained.

Does no one really question why the GOP leadership and Tokyo Rove’s have surrendered and capitulated to Obama’s entire agenda thus far?

Amnesty, ObamaCare - they want those Marxist apparatuses in place as much as the MarxoFascists do.

We have single party rule in this country - and we continue to deceive ourselves that we have a choice within the Ruling Class Masters and us useless eaters in flyover country.

This story is just a vindication of what many of us warned - and why many of us voted for Conservatives instead of playing into the shell-game offered to us.

Yea, I was a Newt guy too. It was a sad day when he dropped out of the Race.

He wasn’t perfect or close to it, but he was pretty much the smartest guy in the room, no matter what room he happened to enter.

We tussled a bit on that other thread, but you and I are in complete agreement about Romney and the two treasonous wings of the ruling class elites.

Freepers who bought into that sham of an election are seriously in need of some wake up medicine.

At the Caucus, I said that I wanted Newt. That statement eliminated me from being a delegate to the state convention for the first time in sixteen years.

The delegate selection was coordinated by LDS delegates who voted in a block during the delegate voting process.

I voted for Romney because I knew Zer0 was a Commie. The trouble with Romney was he had no clue what was a Commie. People like him never study political science things when the order of their life was to be a good LDSer or a lazy independent.

To me, Romney was the candidate for the independents. The grass root conservatives were squeezed out of the picture. The ball was in the independent’s court and their task was to put forth the campaign for Romney to win. Instead, they proved that they did not have the experience or fortitude to do what the conservative grass root had historically done. The independents did not have the work ethic that made things work in the past. They had no clue what work it took to run a successful campaign. They were arrogant and lazy. They slapped the face of the conservatives and told them they would do it their way for a change.

When the Romney people relied on a computer system to get out the vote, that is where their arrogant independent laziness hit them in the rear. That computer system either crashed or was hacked. They didn’t even bother to beta test it. It was end of story for a campaign to disaster.

What makes you think any conservative approves of borrowing and spending, especially from foreign nations with or without enmity to us? That’s a chief plank of conservative complaints against liberalism, not just tax/spend. Don’t make up stuff about conservatives.

Furthermore, the author of Romneycare in any way a fiscal conservative? never mind the other big-government stuff he did as governor of MA?

The record stands on its own.

What an all around scam it was. I would like to tar and feather Karl Rove. He needs to go. He must have some serious pictures of someone at Foz news to be on the air there 7 days a week - after supposedly being fired or released right after the election.

That self-serving bastard is public enemy number ONE for conservatives.

It was merely a discussion about reactions to events that have not fully reached critical mass in one direction or another. I did not consider it a tussle.

I’m obviously more pessimistic about things than you are.

I can only hope I am dead wrong and you are incredibly right. I’m governed by the adage that it is better to err on the side of caution than to be totally taken by surprise and lose heart altogether.

I think Patrick Henry said it best: “For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”

To know the worse (or imagine it) and provide for it, sums me up pretty well these days.
