Can anyone explain or direct me to the mechanics of how cherrios reduces cholesterol?I thought that they were saying it "could" lower cholesterol. If this is the case, then there are several avenues such as replacing meat/eggs, and the effect of the oats in the system where it could possibly help lower it. If they are saying it "will" lower it, then they probably need to stop.

Thanks. Using the “could” scenario means any non cholesterol substitute would work.
Might be a new marketing campaign for beer!

I think they say that it, “may contribute”.
