OWS in NYC is most definitely not dead. They still have hundreds of professional part time and full time activists on the payrolls of various nonprofits, and have been well funded and are well prepared for the next round of social justice action, whatever form that takes.

It isn’t a movement, it’s a ‘private army’ of mercenary protesters, with a few useful idiots, homeless, and college kids thrown in. As a grass roots movement, it never had any legitimacy, anyway. The handlers struck a lot of sparks, but they did not take hold.
