Forget Reid and Schumer. How could any sensible conservative be sucked in by Juan McCain and Linseed Graham? When these two approached him, he should have fled as from Satan himself.

Do you really think he was "sucked in?" Rubio was never really a conservative, but rather, a manipulator who understood how to appeal to the Tea Party and conservatives in order to defeat Crist and get elected to the Senate. From his perspective, his only mistake was a miscalculation on how much the amnesty issue would hurt him. In that sense, we are fortunate because we have seen his true colors.

Rubio is not a conservative nor is he some naive victim of McCain and Graham. Rubio thought this was the ticket to the WH--a Rep Hispanic who could garner Hispanic votes along with those of conservatives.
