He doesn’t even have that.

Never will I push the button for him again, and he needs me to push that button.

Do you really think he was "sucked in?" Rubio was never really a conservative, but rather, a manipulator who understood how to appeal to the Tea Party and conservatives in order to defeat Crist and get elected to the Senate. From his perspective, his only mistake was a miscalculation on how much the amnesty issue would hurt him. In that sense, we are fortunate because we have seen his true colors.

Rubio is not a conservative nor is he some naive victim of McCain and Graham. Rubio thought this was the ticket to the WH--a Rep Hispanic who could garner Hispanic votes along with those of conservatives.

Rubio you have about one more good chance. Do not blow it.

Are you f**king kidding me? Why would any conservative ever trust this bastard again?

He’s not a “movement conservative”, he’s just a movement (or a piece of one).

El WrongO!

Not long after the Senate bill passed, Rubio, per some threads/reports, received around $3 million from big-business donors.

That is why he pushed the bill. One word: $$$$$$$$$$

Now, his new buddy in the House, Paul Ryan, is pushing a similar bill. Wonder how many $$$$$$$ Ryan will receive for his efforts?

Sarah Palin's comment about the 30 pieces of silver was off slightly -- it was $3 million bucks.

I got an early red flag on Rubio, when he gave a speech at a hotbed of leftist internationalism, the Brookings Institution.

http://www.rubio.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?ID=d422e875-c1b9-4193-a0ab-9e09a7287d4f

“There are few global challenges that can be solved without decisive American leadership.”

“Our prosperity depends upon the liberal international order that America has supported since the end of World War II.”

Marco quit dancing with the ones who brung him 2 weeks after the election.

If folks think that, they just weren't paying attention.

Rubio originally came out of the Gingrich/Armey GOPAC crowd, which should have set anyone's alarm bells off. And he ran around raising truckloads of money with people like Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney. He didn't have any problem with raking in cash for stone-cold liberals like Scott Brown, either.

It was pretty common knowledge before he ran that he was pro-amnesty.

We certainly never endorsed this guy, and we warned FReepers and the Tea Partiers about him. Of course, they didn't listen.

*snort* Sorry, kid. Your 'freeperism' is nothing more than a poor excuse for a verbal pun that some with limited verbal skills have attempted to foist upon us from their eubonics-rooted attempt at humor. I have been a FReeper for quite some time, and it has only been fairly recently that that ridiculous half of the two-part 'hugh and series' began wasting space on several threads. In the same manner that those who seem to think it amusing to use 'loose' instead of lose because they apparently believe it to be somehow funny to do so, it does nothing but illustrate the shallow thinking that it derives from to those of us who manage to have a more comprehensive grasp of the english language.

But, to be fair, I admit that I am 'old school', so you go right ahead and prove how all you and your 'new school' Rachel Jantel -type friends are just be so smart an' jus' knows all bettah than ev'bady esle.

It is too late to walk away the damage is done. Rube is either a typical liberal with an (R) in front of his name or just a big Rube.

A while back I posted a thread on the siting of Hugh Series. He was seen in Buttsville, NJ. Rumor had it that he was also seen in My Large Intestine, Texas and Fart, Virginia and Whiskey Dick Mountain, Washington. But, these sighting could not be verified by a FOG (FReeper on the Ground). Have you, possibly, maybe, perhaps, seen him?

Rubio isn’t doing very well on Viggie’s site. In the Conservative HQ poll, he has one vote, compared to Sarah Palin with 51, followed by Ted Cruz with 39.

So is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Is there still a movement conservatism?

If so, where is it?

Rubio would fit in pretty well at National Review, the old mainstay of the movement, wouldn't he?
