Branding sounds pretty harsh.

Changing this term to this, is like liberal doublespeak of changing global warming to climate change. Same garbage.

As soon as they demand this of EVERY OTHER country

If you go to Mexico as an ‘undocumented’ alien see what happens... Mexican prisons are not resort hotels either.

But just pay the money, gringo, and you can go home.

There is no such thing as an illegal immigrate.
Immigrate is a legal status, so you can not be both illegal and legal at the same time.
You are either here legally or illegally.

Logically then there are no country borders. Anybody can come and go and get free services without paying. And this means Americans can do it too.

That’s their dream of ‘one world.’

I disagree with the "shoot 'em" part.

Murder is a capital crime. Treason is a capital crime. I think sodomy with a minor should be a capital crime. But trespassing, even on the wrong side of a national border, is not rationally in that same category.

This kind of talk on our side is stupid "Keyboard Kommando" stuff at best, and at worst shows a brutal streak which is repugnant and morally objectionable.

Just off the top of my head, I'd say we should hold Mexico to strict liability for the cost of the management of illegal migration from Mexico. Calculate the totals, and bill them. If they won't pay up, seize all Mexican assets that are here in the U.S. (like bank accounts.)

If that doesn't satisfy their liability, seize as much of Pemex as we can get our hands on. Pemex has a total asset worth of $415.75 billion, and annual revenues of about $80 billion.

That ought to motivate Mexico to control the border from their side.

Heck of a lot better than murdering a bunch of poor cholos at the Wall.

I want to see the UN go into Mexico and say this since Mexico jails its illegals.

The proper designation for illegal immigrants, which changes the argument entirely, it that they are, and remain, citizens of their home country. And that is what they should be called, because it puts the whole argument in context. For example:

“An Associated Press-GfK poll found that 63 percent of Americans favor “providing a legal way for Mexican citizens to become U.S. citizens.” It found that 34 percent would oppose such a mechanism.”

See how this changes the argument?

There *is* a legal way for Mexican citizens to become U.S. citizens. But these people have chosen not to use that legal way. So does any citizen of any country who can figure out a way to get into the U.S. deserve citizenship?

There are maybe 2 billion people in the world who would rather live as U.S. citizens than citizens of their home nation. How many is too much? Is the only discriminator we should care about is their motivation to travel here?

Can these inane marxists at the United Nations get any more stupid? They do nothing of good, except for the occasional food programs, which can be orchestrated by other institutions that have no agenda.

Decades ago, I tried to believe in the idea of nations coming together to resolve their differences through communication and acceptance of differing ideologies and theologies. However, once I became more aware of the UN politics and those nations who would not join in honest negotiations and continue their self-centered interests, I lost all hope that the world could actually work together through discussion. Cultural mores may never be reconciled.

Once I saw so many atrocious dictatorships being placed on the Human Rights Council and reading their written agenda, I realized it's all about UN control of the World. I despise the UN and wish it was disbanded yesterday. Personally, I wish them the best while being placed in the Sudan - har!.

Think how many condominiums could be available in that building. Or just raze it and build a modern commercial building. Sure Trump and others would love the opportunity on that prime real estate. Think of all the construction jobs and the ancillary jobs that would be available.

And no, I don't believe the conspiracies that the UN will will assist militarily into America politics if we were to go to martial law. That would be the final straw for American gun-owner patriots and the socialist/communists in the UN don't have the guts, and understand a "rifle behind every blade of grass". That is not a threat; it is a reality.

Hi NSA, sure you're entering this in your mega-database. Good. Remember me as a 11 year Navy patriot and a peaceful Constitutional activist for many years after. I will never apologize for my efforts wanting my country back from the socialist/marxists that are destroying our Republic. I took an Oath to the United States Constitution and it is still valid today.

Many of you folks took the same Oath, but do you still stand by it? Did you even understand said Oath? Or have you renounced it? Or maybe you just don't care with your everyday lives and it was just words of the moment. If so, shame on you.

An Oath Is Given With Your Word of Honor, Much More Than A Promise. Without The Integrity (self honesty) Of Honor, Your Oath Means Nothing. Does It Mean Anything To You Folks At NSA And Other Fedgov Employees Anymore? You Folks Are Nullifying One Of Our Most Basic Freedoms - As Guaranteed In The 4th Amendment Below.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the person or things to be seized.

The NSA and other agency databases are in direct violation of the above. While I'm somewhat okay with the NSA monitoring international communications with just cause, the fact that you are collecting EVERY phone record of every US citizen is an invasion of privacy, not to mention un-Constitutional. Yes, I get we live in a world of independent terrorists, but you have NO right to store domestic phone records, emails, social media postings, etc. without just cause. You have gone overboard and bet many of you know it. Stop!

That would be like asking the Black community to raise children. A good idea, but something they have to come up with themselves.

I am in total agreement with your assessment and your idea of punitive action against Mexico. I have been involved in the illegal immigrant issue as far back as 1987. I was a contributor to FAIR and later a Minuteman with Jim Gilchrist.

I don't believe we should be killing poor people who are just looking for a job - just not moral. However, I do want them deported when caught and any employer who hires them fined big time. The second part has been very effective in Arizona, although the rest of their State bill was shot down by the courts.

I've always said, "Stop the incentives (employment, social services, anchor babies, etc.) and the problem will abate for the most part."

Still, I want more fence. It need not be the entire length of the US/Mexico border. Reason why: I've driven I-8 from California to the east Arizona border. There are huge stretches in AZ that are so removed from any access point for coyotes to pick up the people on foot that they can't possibly live for those many miles across the desert. They would need a wagon train full of supplies to get past that desert expanse.

It's all about access to highways for pick up to get loss in American border towns. Check a map of Arizona sometime - you'll get my point. Texas is similar. Almost all the crossings occur around border towns, not to mention the crime. Just building the fence out to the desert wasteland areas, while giving our Border Patrol and ICE the authority to deport would have a huge impact.

Sad that a non-educated person like me can see the solution while our so-called representatives in DC can't see the forest for the trees.

Last thought: I don't get why McLindsey and other RINO's want amnesty. It's a proven fact that a huge majority of Hispanics vote Democrat. Is it about their business cronies wanting cheap labor? I'm really at a loss why the Republicans and Democrats think this is such a huge problem when most Americans don't want their solutions and are more concerned about a job, except the reality show morons.

Should bank robbers he rebranded as irregular bank customers? Should the UN be considered a criminal organization?

The vast bulk of those coming over our Southern border, cannot in any sense be considered refugees. Moreover, the UN has no business advising Americans on immigration policy.

Being able to control who comes into your lands is an inherent attribute of sovereignty. Anyone who would surrender that attribute is by definition a traitor to the free & independent States (the United States), which prevailed in the War, and were recognized by the Treaty Of Paris (1783).
