I am sure Florida will be so darn sorry to see them go.

Crime rates will plummet, public places will be leaner, less violence, less fear, less shoplifting, less robberies, etc...Hell can other states participate too?...

Yes, and when all those Obama-voting Trayvolists leave FL then there will be less police jobs in Florida increasing unemployment, same with prison guards.
And how about those food stamps?
... Ive been listening to the show on hold while its been going on, and I hear a lot of discussion about how Florida has this crazy stand-your-ground law that creates these unique legal scenarios. The fact is Floridas stand-your-ground law is quite common, 33 states are effectively SYG states and have very similar provisions.
In fact there is one state that not only lets you to stand your ground, it explicitly allows you to pursue your assailant if necessary for your safety. And that state is California" [where the NPR station is located].
Many states have SYG laws, and California has an enhanced SYG law. When will the boycotts of California start?
I agree. I think all Floridians who are offended by the ruling and our Stand Your Ground and Concealed Carry laws should move to a state or city more hospitable to their views - say, New York State or Chicago. That way, they won’t have to deal with this injustice on a daily basis.
Yup so is Elvis— I heard him singing on the Radidio just the other day that racist anthem blue Swade shoes. I worry about the neighborhoods that warrant Neighborhood Watch programs—and all the people the media will ignore who will suffer because the Race Baiters those who divide— and stir up racial HATRED for profit have captured the press.
Also - the Zimmerman case was not a ‘Stand Your Ground’ case.
SYG only applies when the defendant had no safe means of escape (it excuses them from having not taken that means of escape rather than defend themselves).
But Zimmerman had no means of escape. He was on the ground with a vicious assailant holding him down.
Yeah, Stevie the Blind Wonder is still alive, he’s my age & we were calling him that when he did “You Can’t Play That Harmonica” in 1964.
Floridians are crushed, I’m sure.
“Moveon(.org) and Stevie Wonder are calling for you to boycott the state and not even go on vacation there.”
This thrills me! When I stayed up late watching news last night, I saw Mr. “Wonder” say he is boycotting Florida. I couldn’t contain my excitement; I clapped and cheered and hoped that he really meant it. Hopefully many more idiots will boycott Florida too. It would certainly cut down on our pollution problems down here.
RFs Pro-Gun Editorial In USA Today
Posted on July 17, 2013 by Robert Farago
As I mentioned in a previous post, USA Today asked me to write a counter-point editorial to their take on U.S. gun laws in general and the Zimmerman verdict in specific. [Click here to read paper's anti-gun gait-prop Lax gun laws vs. Trayvon Martin's life: Our view.] Know this: I didnt get to read the full text until after it was published. Even so, I reckon my effortArmed Zimmerman was no Dirty Harry: Opposing viewmakes the case that TTAGs Armed Intelligentsia explored in our Question of the Day. Wow, Liberals will boycott Florida?? Jeez, I guess FL will be safe for CONSERVATIVES to visit!!
Stevie Wonder is still alive?
Brain Dead -- but still alive.
"We have decided to support the outrageous court decision that endangers the health of our Floridian youngsters by starting an annual 'Tray-Tray Day.' All large groups of attendees (25+) who enter through the turnstiles wearing hoodies will be given FREE admission and bottles of grape Robitussin cough syrup. Best of all, there will be NO security at all. Enjoy!"

We be “overcome”
Pass the ice tea, and “skillets”....Al Sharpton
BTW...I'm going to the Keys in Sept.
I live here—I vacation here. In fact, I stayed on the Gulf Coast following the BP disaster to show my support for Florida businesses, while the rest of the country/world were too unadventurous to give it a try. Anything that keeps the libtards from coming down and complaining about/criticizing everything they encounter in my home state suits me just fine.
I got to see Ray Charles (as imperfect as he was) before he passed. THAT was a pleasure. Stevie can kiss my rosy-red Caucasian ass.
*ONE of these days Jim or somebody else is going to disagree with me a give me a time-out*
Your’re kidding, right? If most of the college graduates (most college graduates are liberal, you know) leave Florida, all you’ll have left is the unemployed, minimum wage earners and and small business owners who’ll go out of business when nobody can buy what they sell.
And how about those food stamps? That won’t change. There’s no statistic race population difference in food stamp users. Since your unemployment will increase with all the real (rather than the tea-party mythical) job creators leaving, there’ll be MORE food stamp users.
Florida gets more resources (interstate roads, shipping, electricity and other forms of power, et al) from the Feds than it passes back in taxes already. The entire southern USA is on the Federal dole.
By all means, drive away the smart people. The rest of the country knows how to treat people right.
