My letter to my GOP Congressman warning him not to vote for amnesty

I speak for myself and a sizable bloc of like-minded people who are furious with your apparent intension to vote to erase our borders and destroy our economy by the importation of tens of millions of new uneducated and unskilled people into our midst.

These people will overwhelmingly vote Democrat so they can squeeze every last drop of blood out of the body of our beloved country.

We’ve tried to talk to you about your legally mandated responsibilities to uphold the Constitution and protect our interests but you seem to be ignoring what we have to say. Instead you are listening to people like Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi who tell you that unless you vote to provide (fill in your name for amnesty) Hispanics will never support you and Republicans will never hold the White House again.

Why you would believe this is a mystery. Such an assertion is bizarre and absolutely unsupportable on its face. Neither you nor anyone else can make the case that Hispanics will ever vote for Republicans under any circumstances.

Take a look at what the 1986 Amnesty bill did to California. Your parroting of the Democrat Party line on the urgent need for “comprehensive immigration reform” without the slightest hint of self-consciousness speaks volumes about where your true loyalties are.

You seem to believe those of us who can see what is really happening should be addressed with this child- like foolishness about “comprehensive immigration reform,” but believe me you are making a serious mistake.

“.. we are not a mindless mob as Republican(s) believe. We’re the very people who worked 8 and 10 hours a day, every day to get you elected. We can and most certainly will work just as hard to defeat..

Here's one I sent off this AM:

A Representative in Congress, having taken this Oath:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

to "support and defend" the Constitution, which document requires, per Art.4, S.4, that

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

ought to think hard about supporting the recently passed Senate immigration bill. The Senators, including the notorious Gang of Eight, chose to pass a bill without reading it (Did they learn nothing from the abject disaster that is the ACA?). The Senate bill represents not just a failure to defend against an invasion (for that is what it is) but actually rewards the invaders, in some circumstances with privileged status above that accorded to US citizens.

A Representative who took his Oath and the Constitution seriously would be pressing for what the American people have repeatedly said they want - not what Mexico or some border state farmers and homebuilders want. That is, 1. secure the border in a transparently verifiable way; 2. end the anchor-baby interpretation of the 14th Amendment; 3. enforce eVerify without exception and with severe penalties; 4. no government benefits beyond critical emergency care (and that ought to be billed back to the Mexican government); and 5. NO "Path to Citizenship" for anyone who has entered the US illegally. Any bill that does not accomplish these five things is unacceptable.

If the GOP is complicit in this amnesty fiasco, either by taking up the Senate bill or through some reconciliation slight of hand with a phony House bill, the GOP will cease to exist. It will not survive through the 2016 elections. The people will shun the over-tanned, gladhanding, backslapping quislings and look elsewhere for leaders who actually have the spine for the fight. Make no mistake, to me and many, many others, amnesty is the GOP's Rubicon. Cross it at your electoral peril.

The pro-Boehner forces only need 25 liberal GOP congressmen; the others can safely vote “No”, and it won’t matter. It’s a sneaky plan to fool the uninformed Americans.

“Will send to all my Republican Precinct Committee Officers in my district.” thanx much now we need to bury them in our messages. I mean EVERY damned word of this letter. I don't care if it means electing a Democrat because a stray GOPer especially the ONLY one from NYC won't be able to do a thing but collect his check anyway. I campaigned with a sandwich board in my home town and got my message to thousands of people in a single day, every day. Knocking on doors is useless. Sandwich boards get attention especially in busy areas.
