The defense team has done a very good job. The trial was fixed from the beginning to enable the prosecution to get a conviction. The judge was on the side of the prosecution. The rules of evidence have been applied unfairly against the defense. The prosecution has been caught lying and concealing evidence. The defense witnesses particularly the parents have been allowed by the court to commit perjury. With all this it was almost certain that the prosecution would get a conviction. Now it appears not to be the case.
If the defense wins an acquittal in such a fixed environment it will be quite an accomplishment.
