This Friday is the fifth anniversary of Tony Snow's death, at far, far too young an age, from colon cancer. Many here may not know, or perhaps have forgotten, that Tony was a FReeper..Here's the link to the thread that announced his death. I thought that many would enjoy recalling some memorable moments of Tony at his best.
We all miss you, Tony! Miss your posts directly to us. WOOF!
Bless your heart for this ping, LUV W. It’s just so hard to write with the screen all blurry. I can still hear Tony’s marvelous voice telling about how he and his wife walked their older son to school on his first day, while pulling the younger one behind in a little red wagon. What a sweet picture. Such a gentle soul—a true gentleman, a man of great integrity. It was an honor to be able to hear and see him, unfortunately, for way, way too short a time. Looking forward to all the links—this site is truly a keeper.
Hope my husband can repair my snowflake earring! And hope we get to see all the Snowflakes here once again!!
Ken, this thread truly is a work of love. Thank you for taking the time to gather these wonderful moments of our beloved Tony Snow. We have somewhere to go to get away from all the insanity surrounding us now.
Our prayers are with his family.
Thanks for the ping. I met my husband on FR listening to Tony. God Bless his soul and watch over Jill and the kids. Gone but NOT forgotten.
WOOF! FR has never been the same since Tony’s passing.
Never forgotten! How I miss his really fair and balanced analysis during these scary times!
You’re welcome, Big Guy! :)
My great pleasure... glad you enjoyed it..
Amen!
