You don’t get out much, then.

The highways are packed because people are buying cars because they are employed. That’s why you are kvetching about traffic being bad.

Restaurants are packed because people are employed.

Flights are packed because employed people are traveling to jobs and vacations.

The oil patch can’t hire people fast enough.

Web developers can’t be hired fast enough.

Phone app developers can’t be hired fast enough.

DNA programmers can’t be hired fast enough...the entire medical research field is going gang-busters!

3D printers. Electric cars. Cloud Computing and Data Storage. Web 3.0.

The U.S. is building a new LNG *export* port because we are producing so much natural gas.

Crowdsourcing. New books and movies are being crowdsourced by sites like Kickstarter.com.

Everyone who wants to work has a job.

The *only* able-bodied people who are unemployed are those who are too spoiled to move or change fields.

Slackers.

Not sure where you live....but highways are not packed here...You could not hit someone with a cannon in the shopping centers, and I see very little business activity change from what it was last year...

Sure there are some buying new cars but that is a seasonal thing..But what I do see a lot of is inflation....rents, food, utilities.....

This is showing up as profits for some public companies, however the euphoria will not last...

I get out plenty, but I use my eyes not covered with rose colored glasses.

You repeated comments about dead beats reveals more than you know.

You words are those of the con man: “buddy have I got a deal for you.”

What ever you are selling I ain’t buying.
