Great story! Nothing like the truth followed by facts to flummox the opposition! Well done...and once again proves the superiority of facts over “feelings”....love it.....
Someone once said that you are entitled to your own feelings but not your own facts. This woman kept saying “my church teaches x” and I would immediately follow with “actually, your church teaches y” and I could prove it. She finally admitted that her particular church considered its foundational documenta (and, of course, scripture) to be merely “guidelines” and “examples” more appropriate to the sixteenth century than the 21st. It was fun, but it was also sad. This person was spiritually destitute and rudderless and didn’t even know it.
