Yes. My oldest daughter identifies herself as a lesbian and is legally “married” to a lesbian atheist in DC.
This woman was raised in the church and was voluntarily baptized when she was 13.
She and I get along fine as long as we don’t discuss politics, although occasionally I will choose to hide a post of hers on Facebook.
Her “wife” on the other hand, actively hates the fact that I refuse to approve of this marriage. She frequently is openly hostile to our Christianity. I hide her posts a lot, but have told her I will not deny Christ under any circumstances. Her mother is also Christian and I suspect I get some misplaced anger she will not direct at her mother.
Privately I pray for both of them.

I have a good friend who has a daughter raised in a conservative, spiritual 2 parent home. For several years she lived the lesbian life. Her parents never gave up, bathing the daughter in prayer daily. Today, this young woman is married to Christian man and they are the parents of two toddlers.

God bless you as you deal with this situation. I always wondered how I would cope if that happened in my family. As it is, my two oldest children who were raised in a Christian home no longer go to Church and one recently told me he is an agnostic. It breaks my heart and all we can do as parents is love and pray for them.
