Americans who fought Communists, were always marginalized by the media and schools.

That was a nasty war.

In his new book The Savior Generals, Victor Davis Hanson has a chapter on Matthew Ridgway and how he saved the US from imminent defeat in the Korean War. MacArthur does not come out looking well by comparison.

Truman should have warned the Chinese to stand down and that if they didn’t that nukes would be dropped on the NK side of the border.If the USSR *really* wanted to weigh in...so be it!
