We have friends whose son has come out as gay. They ave not changed their views at all, but they still love their son. They just agree to disagree. They have been steadfast in telling him why they believe the way they do. They’ve had others talk to him. They continually pray for him.

I don’t think it’s right to shun a child from the family.

Agreed 100%. There should be n shunning. what your firends diod was exactly right.

I have kids of my own who have turned away from the Lord and the teachings of their youth. They know we love them, and that they are welcome at tour home. They also know, and respect, that certian of their behavior is nott to be brought home...amd they do not.

Our prayers, and our love remain steadfast for them...and they know it, and why.

I understand completely...and believe that your friends are taking the path that will provide their son a way home should he ever turn from that life style...and I will pray as well that he does.
