Public Policy Polling, a Democratic firm, has a fairly solid record, and theyre constantly polling in North Carolina, their home base. So it has to give Sen. Kay Hagan, D, a bit of heartburn that theyre finding her slightly underwater on job approval, and around 45 percent in ballot tests, just squeaking by against candidates ranging from barely known statewide to some dude.

Oh, really? Mere days after Todd Akin effectively murdered his campaign by making the unfortunate comment about rape, PPP ran a "poll" of MO voters showing they preferred Akin by 1%. Problem is... they pumped the numbers of purported GOP voters, showing an R+9 sampling. The true breakout in MO is nearly 50-50.
Perhaps PeePeePee gets some polling right, but they're also corrupt and completely partisan.
There is a single Republican potential opponent in North Carolina who has positive favoloribility?
Hagan voted FOR the Stimulus and Obamacare. Nuff said.
I've come to accept the fact the voters in New America don't like Republicans or their ideas any more than they like acne, so any Repub NOT deep under water is in comparatively great shape.
Aside from stated support for the 2nd Amendment, Hagan is pretty much a firewall liberal.

Too bad it’s not SC. If it were Gowdy could take the seat. Could you imagine dingy and his band of gutter rats facing off against the tag team of Cruz-Gowdy?
Pittinger might take a shot at it. He’d get the Charlotte vote.
Thousands of us in South Carolina hope Rep. Gowdy will destroy Linda Graham in the primary next year.
