Sarah Palin energized a group of social conservatives at the Faith and Freedom Coalitions Road to Majority Conference Saturday, blasting the Obama Administrations apparent lawlessness, calling the current state of America Orwellian, and urging the United States to stay out of Syrias chaotic and brutal civil war.
In comments to the Daily Caller, the 2008 candidate for vice president also declined to join many of her fellow Republicans in condemning National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, saying the real problem was the governments violation of Americans rights.
In her speech, Palin called the current political atmosphere, rife with scandals, a a symptom of a bigger disease, expressing outrage over the Internal Revenue Services targeting of conservative nonprofits.
You dont marginalize everyday, average Americans. Those, who are part of the Tea Party, that want to protect the constitution, said the former Alaska Governor. The IRS cant figure out how it spent $4 million dollars on a training conference because it lost its receipts really?
The 2008 GOP Vice-Presidential nominee said President Obama has lost the trust of the American people.
Like the other day, she said [Director of National Security Intelligence James Clapper] bragging that they used the least untruthful statement. Now, where I come from that is called a lie. Yes, the officials lied and government spied and in Benghazi government lied and Americans died.(continued)

Stay out of the Syrian Civil War, the rebels are working with Al-Qaeda, I agree.
Sarah would kick Dick Cheney’s butt on this one.
Snowden did what many conservatives begged someone in govt to do. Come out and expose the BS. Then many of those ‘conservatives” screamed he was a traitor.
Guess Romney had a real effect on us. Now we are as trustworthy as he is.
She’s right. The problem is this administration and an out of control Congress.
They think they are the “elite” and our betters, which is why they hate Sarah so much.
Nobody is ever conservative enough for conservatives.
Which is why the politicians stop trying.
On Fox there’s an article about Cheney calling Snowden a traitor.
yes . . . Yes . . . and YES!
I like her more and more. I’m not 100% on Snowden but put a gun to my head and make me chose, and yeah —I’d prolly have done the same.
And Sarah is right on Syria, too —one angry group of Moon Brayers slaying another, so I call that popcorn time.
Sarah —wholesome and RIGHT.
That's why four Americans were allowed to be slaughtered at Benghazi - to cover Hussein's TREASON!
So you think no one should ...I dunno...Stick to their guns?
Conservatism ain’t rocket science to understand or participate in. There is a Democrat party for people against standing for something.
Yes, I saw him say it. He went down a couple of notches in my book.
Can't argue with that.
Good one!
Hey it’s a lesser evil!
If you don’t win elections it doesn’t matter.
Pretty darn simple
Snowden is a fly. The maggots’ nest is at the White House. The garbage has been sitting for too long.
The Snowden case is having a very interesting effect —cleaving the left into cynical Leftists, and some really brave Authority Questioners.
And it’s having a similar effect on the right —a LOT of people that I thought I was similar to apparently are just from a weird, authority rah-rah crowd, or folks who reflexively support **ANYTHING** that is paramilitary or has a badge —”load ‘em onto the railcars” set.
Snowden is a filter for GENUINE freedom-lovers on both the left and right, and it has had the odd effect of making me identify more with some people who ordinarily I would have considered as America Haters —but apparently they’re sincere.
Seems to me that under Bush the Patriot Act was meant to spy on terrorists but zero and valerie have found the PA more useful to spy on their political enemies. Why would they spy on their friends, the Muslims, anyway?
