Haven’t seen it, but have read plenty of reviews. ‘Nose in the air’ critics aren’t happy because it isn’t a ‘fun movie’ and skyscrapers collapsing reminds them of ‘9-11’; Superman fans LOVE it because the ‘Man of Steel’ FINALLY gets to beat the crap out of his opponents with plenty of collateral damage. Alien invasions generally aren’t ‘fun’ movies (Independence Day, for example)...these snobs probably enjoyed that atrocity with Richard Pryor back in the 80’s (gag).
I have to admit... I hate movies that are 90% action and 10% story... which is seemingly what Man Of Steel may be...
