If you have an opportunity to take John Mosby’s classes, I highly recommend it. I’ve taken 2 so far, Small Unit Tactics, and Small Unit Tactics 2 / Patrolling.

Although I'm a member of a gun club, the outdoor range is pretty unpleasant during the winter. When I don't go to the range, I practice in my basement. Airsoft pistol (replica of my 1911), and pellet rifle (single shot). The range is too short for rifle optics to focus, so I use iron sights. I've found that by ignoring the wobble and just squeezing the trigger smoothly, I get fairly good groups. It's jerking the trigger just as the sights line up with the target that causes flyers. The advice above sounds good. I'm going to work more on natural point of aim.
