As the justified anger concerning IRS abuses prompt more discussion of ways to abolish it, we will begin to ask “With WHAT?” The two choices will probably come down to a FLAT INCOME TAX vs. A CONSUMPTION TAX.
I post this once again to remind us all — especially those who favor a FLAT TAX on INCOMES — that a tax on INCOMES (wealth creation) is a main tenet of MARXISM. I also remind the reader that governments tax that which they want LESS OF. Are we sure we want LESS wealth creation? A tax — if a tax there must be — is fairest when imposed on CONSUMPTION. The FAIR TAX is ready to roll out now!

What you are seeing is squirming. The IRS is very unpopular and this is a huge black eye on an agency that already is very unpopular. Yet, to the Democrats/left, the IRS building is their holy site. Plus, this is happening on their watch.

Be prepared to hear even more ridiculous statements coming from the Democrats in the coming months

A smart House Gop member would Immediately file a proposal to make the IRS a form processor for a faix, or flat tax, doesn’t matter, and let the Senate and Obama go on record defending the IRS as it is before the 2014 mid-terms.

Yes, we believe we should be free. It's not just a good idea, it's the supreme law of the land:

Congress shall make no law respecting . . . prohibiting . . . abridging . . . shall not be infringed . . . The right of the people . . . shall not be violated . . . No person shall . . . the accused shall . . . Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted . . . The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people . . . The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

It's quite clear that the "scrutiny" we may be subjected to is strictly limited and that the thugs in the White House and the IRS exceeded their constitutional powers.

They were hoping their accusations of racists, etc., would stick, giving them cover for what they’ve been up to. They made it clear they were going after their enemies. Now we know that included placing the boot of the IRS on the neck of the Tea Party.
