There have been a grand total of 14 such ER cases in the last 3 years in the entire state of Colorado. I'll bet the only reason it is going up is because parents are no longer afraid to bring their kids in since it is legal. http://www.geekosystem.com/colorado-kids-pot-cookies/

And again, there has never been a single confirmed case of damage from eating cannabis in all of recorded history - not even from choking. These ER visits have all been unnecessary freakouts by hoverparents.

NOTHING is “harmless”. Even locking your kid inside a padded, germ-free home is harmful.

Letting your kids play on a concrete street is more dangerous than feeding them all the cannabis they can eat. Hundreds of times more kids are hospitalized from simple trips/falls.

None of the press releases state the period of time for the study. There's only a distinction of before the law and after the law.

A total of 1,378 patients under age 12 were evaluated for unintentional ingestions – 790 before Sept. 30, 2009 and 588 after Oct. 1, 2009. The number of children treated for exposure to marijuana before Sept. 30 was zero. The number from Oct. 1 on was 14 with eight of those coming directly from consuming marijuana food products.
1378 is the total number of ER visits. 14 is probably the number of hospitalizations.

You said yourself that a victim should be monitored for asphyxiation in post 27.
