Ordinary Greeks Turn to Golden Dawn
Enza Ferreri Blog ^ | 21 May 2013 | Enza Ferreri

The media blame Golden Dawn for being racist, but they don't say that the situation in Greece is beyond tolerability.

90% of illegal immigrants to Europe go through Greece, the gateway to our continent. One million immigrants are reported to be in Greece, half of whom illegal.

Ordinary, non-racist Greeks, whose life have become unbearable due to the very high level of immigrants' crime wich makes them scared of going out at night, vote for Golden Dawn because the party is the only one that tackles the problem and helps.

A Golden Dawn voter is the florist in the video that can be seen clicking on the link just below the post title, who says she ended up living in a ghetto.

Golden Dawn will look tame once there is a Muslim insurgency brewing in every European capitol. That is when the “Doh” moment will come to Europe.

I was thing of the 1930 movie “Golden Dawn”! It was kind of different.

“I hate modern Nazis.”

The old-fashioned ones weren’t anything to write home about either.

This return of fascists in Europe is quite predictable, because fascism is an opportunistic infection that only gains a foothold in nations that have already been weakened by socialism. The socialists indoctrinate people to look to the state for charismatic leaders with utopian solutions. When the socialists fail, the people just look for other leaders with different utopian solutions, and that’s what fascists specialize in.

In the early 20th century, Americans weren’t that indoctrinated, so we managed to avoid that trap, but in the early 21st century, I don’t know if we’ll be that lucky.

No, but they had a better dress code and grooming habits at least. I mean, cargo shorts, track pants, and untucked shirts at a Nazi rally? Hitler would have sent them to the Eastern front.

Greece has only 10.8 million people. 7% are foreigners. 1/3rd of adults are unemployed.

This is very much a youth unemployment problem. The unemployment rate for the young in Greece is above 50%. The longer is stays high, and it will for years, the more the young will reject the previous generation’s politics, and want something new. Golden Dawn isn’t a good solution, but they will be in the right place at the right time.

Too many parallels with the Wiemar republic and the salvation offered by the nazis.

All you need for the Nazis (of any stripe) is for the ruling class to lose the confidence of the people. They’ll put their hope in anything - like Nazis or Obama.

Good thing there are not enough Greeks or enough Greek military to create a threat...

They should thank God the country isn't already on fire.

“This return of fascists in Europe is quite predictable, because fascism....”

.
All this rhetoric still does not solve the problem of the illegals that flood Greece — the government is certainly not doing anything about it.

The “return of Fascism” should be looked at as an awakening of nationalism. That BS of ‘all cultures are of equal value’ may be promotable in the US, but certainly does not fly in countries that have a history that started far earlier than 1776.

We are very lucky that our alternative is the non violent Tea Party. If the Tea Party works to educate the young as to why there are no jobs for them, they will join it in droves.

A while I read that the biggest concern is alliances building between like minded groups across Europe.

We also need to keep hammering the point home to the plantation dwellers.
