So did Nixon and they never really did get through it to him directly. His staff ended up in jail, though: Mitchell (who actually rejected the original plan), Haldeman, Erlichman, and Colson, Liddy, and John Dean.
A similar house-cleaning is in order here, I think: Holder, Jarrett, Axelrod...you fill in the names. It's going to be a long list.

Kucinich may be wrong on most issues, but he’s a liberal in the classic sense...not the progressive government control sense. It’s actually interesting to hear him now that he’s free of elected office. He still gets wacky on a lot of stuff, but like Socialist Bernie Sanders, he’ll call it like he sees it from time to time when the government oversteps individual rights.
