The reason I brought up Nixon is that (other than McCarthy and Jesus and Reagan) he is one of the most hated figures by the left in all of human history.

So pointing out that Obama has word-for-word literally engaged in the same activity as Nixon cuts through ALL of the left's defensive BS on a visceral, emotional level.

Understood - I was not criticizing. You could write the impeachment articles for Obama word-for-word from some of the specifications in Nixon's Articles.

But Nixon was never anti-American like this Regime is. We just had some WH functionary telling us on national TV that the Law is irrelevant. Nixon did some things that were not not legal, although not much worse than what his immediate predecessors did, but his transgressions, IMO, pale in comparison with those of this Regime.

Given the penchant of the Left for finding moral equivalencies, it's my impression that we should, strictly as a tactical matter, leave Nixon and Watergate out of the discussion and focus on the truly repellant and tyrannical behavior of this Regime.
