Celia Roady –admits being asked by Lois Lerner to ask planted question that broke IRS scandal

Celia Roady is a lawyer and a partner at Morgan, Lewis and Bockius LLP. Roady is now admitting that she was contacted by Lois Lerner on May 9th. Lerner on the 9th asked Celia Roady to ask the planted IRS question discriminating against conservatives and she agreed. Celia Roady, who released a statement to Fox News says there were no discussion thereafter on the topic of the question. Also, Roady claims that she hasn’t spoken with Lois Lerner about this issue before that May 9th phone call. Finally, Celia Roady says that Lerner did not tell herr how she would answer the question.

On Saturday, Celia Roady — the lawyer who asked the question of IRS official Lois Lerner at the May 10 American Bar Association conference — issues the following statement to Fox: “On May 9, I received a call from Lois Lerner, who told me that she wanted to address an issue after her prepared remarks … and asked if I would pose a question to her after her remarks. I agreed to do so.…We had no discussion thereafter on the topic of the question, nor had we spoken about any of this before I received her call. She did not tell me, and I did not know, how she would answer the question.”

Something is telling me this this was put out there in order to take the news and people’s minds off Benghazi. This scandal would have come out eventually, so what a better time to drop it then while people start learning about Obama and Hillary Clinton’s lies in Benghazi. You’ll remember the weekend before this scandal dropped, the Sunday news shows were all focused on Benghazi after the hearings in Congress.

I just wonder if hitlery knew about this and threw O’Dumby under the bus so she could run in 2016.

No mater how low the dems sink nothing really surprises me any more.

I think some people have already figured out that even though this is true it is being used as a Trojan horse just to get peoples minds from the real issue which is the lies and cover up by the white house on Benghazi.

Get her in front of Congress and ask her who told her now was a good time to break this story.

"Are we to believe Ms Lerner that you were about to go public with a huge scandal involving the purely political actions of IRS and you were not consulted or did not consult the White House?

If the IRS Scandal Concerns You, Wait Till You See Who’s In Charge of the IRS Enforcement of Obamacare

From all we’ve heard in the news, the IRS targeting of non-profit applications with the name ‘Tea Party’ or ‘Patriot’ started back in 2010 if not earlier. At that time, Sarah Hall Ingram was the commissioner responsible for all tax-exempt organizations and applications for non-profit status. Ingram held that position from 2009 through 2012.

Joseph Grant took over for Ingram on May 8, 2013, Grant seems to be the fall guy for the scandal even though most of it began under Ingram’s control. He has already announced that he would retire on June 3. In reality, it should be Ingram who is forced to resign and not Grant as the vast majority of illegal actions occurred under her leadership.

So where did Ingram get moved to? Believe it or not, she is now the director of the IRS division that oversees Obamacare.

Lerner just got a wild hare and decided to fess up all by herself. No need to consult with the DOJ or Barry first. Yeh, thats the ticket.

A big forest fire is a very dangerous thing. It burns up everything and everyone in its path. Benghazi is like a big forest fire. It could burn up the Democrat party. There’s not much you can do to fight a big forest fire. You can drop some water on it, but that’s mostly just for show. You can dig a fire line to try and stop it, but a big fire can create its own wind and blow across the fire line. You can wait for rain or winter. Or, you can set small fires in front of the big forest fire. You can control the small fires and they take the fuel away from the big forest fire so it just burns out. The IRS and AP stories were small fires set by the Democrats in an attempt to put out the big forest fire of Benghazi. You see, the thing about those small fires ( they are called Backfires) is that you have to check the direction of the wind first otherwise, you’re just making things worse. The Democrats didn’t check the direction of the wind.

So, the regime decided to commit suicide, rather than be murdered?

That’s what this line of thinking postulates.

Nope. The OIG report was coming out that would accuse the IRS of the targeting of conservative groups. This was just to get on the record admitting the targeting was done before being accused by the report. They wanted to lessen the impact of the report. And it kinda worked since DC is not yet a smoking heap of ashes.

Ah....makes sense. You must have had your Wheaties this morning. Excellent analysis.
