I had a friend, Dan, who thought the Desiderata was the most profound thing he ever read so he put it on his wall. Dan also had a three-D Star Trek chess set that he played maybe once. For his birthday I got him the most tacky velvet art painting I could find at a gas station and he thanked me profusely since he ranked it right up there with a Da Vinci painting.
