The IRS is going to spy on our shopping records, travel records, social interactions and health records for “auditing” purposes.
US News reported via Washingtons Blog:
The IRS’s next phase in high-tech tax collection will be to create a “real-time” check of tax returns to “match them to third party information,” said U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George in testimony before Congress. Starting this year, the IRS tools will be able to track all credit card transactions, for starters. The agency has also instructed agents on using online sources such as social media and e-commerce sites including eBay, as well as the rich data generated by mobile devices. In one controversial disclosure in April, the ACLU showed documents in which the IRS general counsel said the agency could look at emails without warrants, but the IRS has said it will not use this power....

My guess is doing all that will get you audited for sure. They won’t be able to stand not knowing what you are doing at every minute so they will audit to get their look.
I may be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure that Obamacare leaves it open for the IRS to share information with other federal agencies.
It's bad enough that they have this kind of info on ordinary citizens, but imagine if they'd have had this stuff on Sarah Palin or any prominent figure they want to destroy. Does anyone really think that the DNC won't be spoon fed some of this information?

Guess I’ll get an audit, then. I pay with cash and only use credit card for large buys or monthly internet provider. I have never used PayPal, Ebay, Amazon, Facebook or other such sites. I have never had a cell phone or other similar device. ....’Course I’m over 70 with no debt and just paid off a 30 year mortgage in 19 years, so the lack of traceable info on the internet and existing only on a pension and SS just likely could result in an investigation by the IRS. lol, the fools don’t understand economics! .....You only spend on what you can afford!
After my medical needs have been attended to by the VA for years. I was skeptical about the reports that the VA was being used to question veteran loyalties to this regime.
No longer, while having my hearing being tested I was asked a series of personal questions including owning a gun, hunting,and other unecessary background information jobs etc the clinicion administering the test was reading off her computer. It was a series of questions which ammounted to profiling to which this 81 year old vet was asked to respond to. The VA is profiling.
How ‘bout FLAT TAX with NO deductions- that should take the rug out from under the snoops
Remember it is the IRS that will enforce Obamacare, too. And conveniently all doctors are now required to digitize their health care records and store them in a government designated database.
