Not only are they not going to get Hispanic votes, they are going to lose their base, and they deserve to lose their base.

That is for sure. Even if this bill doesn't pass, they will have lost much of their base for even trying to pass it.
I agree. One has to be sniffing pixie dust or glue or something to actually believe that those Hispanics that gain by amnesty will reward a Republican president at the ballot box. A welfare entitled immigrant is a welfare entitled voter. End of story.
