The reason government conspiracies on the scale necessary to pull off a “false flag” attack such as Boston are so unbelievable, is that our government is not competent to pull off such a complicated plan. Just look at 0bamacare or the DMV.

Not even the most interesting conspiracies. I like the one where the Wookie visits the hospital to see the Saudi homosexual activist ~ or whatever it was that went on.

Just amazingly a regular White House visitor got hit with shrapnel rom the bomb!

That has to mean something ~ like maybe he got hit with shrapnel because he was too close.

More on that one later.

The silliest theory I heard was that Muslim terrorists from Chechnya attacked innocent women and children at the Marathon. We all know that Islam is a religion of peace, so there are no Muslim terrorists. We all know that the Chechen rebels are freedom fighters who love freedom and America and only resist Russia in order to gain their basic freedoms at home. We all know that Chechen immigrants to our country are as patriotic and pro-America as Barack Obama himself. How could this possibly have been Islamic terrorists?

A bold strike against the AlexJonesians.

Are they proliferating on here, or do I just really dislike them?

this became an exercise to see how they could pull off martial law and ripping people at gunpont out of their houses, without calling it martial law.

then they were packing it up and a citizen found the second guy.

there was no need to lock down a million people and at gunpoint force them out of homes and perform warrantless searches, then somehow lose a 19 year old, go home when you can’t find him ‘like now it’s no big deal. this is about desensitizing the population into being treated like prisoners and criminals and being told to shut up and thank them. and they didn’t even find the second damn guy

which tells me it was never really the point. the lower level folks aren’tin on the big picture, that’s their plausible deniability there.

Alex Jones is just a useful idiot who makes tons of money selling this stupid crap to the gullible. C’mon, everyone knows that fire can’t melt steel and that GWB wired up the Twin Towers so he could declare war on Iraq and that the airliner crashes on 911 were all staged and that Sandy Hook and now Boston were staged by Obama hisself. /s

Besides as Ben Franklin said, 3 men can keep a secret, as long as at least 2 of them are already dead. Like the JFK assassination and the truther crap, hundreds if not thousands of people from different governmental agencies would’ve needed to have been in on it. And every single one of them could be trusted to not let the cat out of the bag, accidently or otherwise? Hey gov’t agencies have enough problems communicating with each other under “normal” circumstances. I still remember the half-baked consp theory about John Lennon murdered by the CIA. Whoever thought that one up I wanted arrested for attempted murder. I thought I was gonna die laughing.

All I know is I do NOT trust the government. At any level.

And since “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”, I don’t see why couldn’t go ahead and send Him some next day deliveries so He can have His vengeance.

The phrase ‘blood libel’ comes to mind when I think of Jones, but I have come to realize he is far, far worse.

If there is a conspiracy, it isn’t in orchestrating these acts but in “not letting a crisis go to waste”, and as Cass Sunstein wrote, create the myth of the conspiracy around it to keep your opponents chasing their tail.

Or, another source from the left:

“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist. (Perception is reality. Large organizations always prepare a worst-case scenario, something that may be furthest from the activists’ minds. The upshot is that the organization will expend enormous time and energy, creating in its own collective mind the direst of conclusions. The possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.) - Rules for Radicals #9

Wait a minute. Didn’t this thread get pulled? And now it is back? Must be some kind of conspiracy. ;-)

Nor do I, but idiotic conspiracy crap doesn’t help our cause. There’s enough very real corruption and crime and power grabbing and government abuse to concentrate on.
