Has Watertown Made Warrantless Searches The "New Normal"?

The whole notion of the police "manhunt" is not a new American phenomenon. Cops chase bad guys, cops corner bad guys. Sometimes the bad guys give up quietly, sometimes they go down in a blaze of glory. But we've always had rules of engagement when it came to law enforcement interaction with the general public.

Difference is WE KNOW what the people had to say about their visits from the cops. What we don't know about Watertown is what those people who were visited had to say about it.

When you find out, let everybody know.

BTW, i disagreed with the Israeli gub'mnt pulling the settlers out of Hebron ~ they should have given them larger machineguns and more barbed wire. Your response suggests you favored pulling them out and beating them up if they resisted.

They had their day in court I don’t agree with the finding, but the settlement was declared illegal and that’s that, BUT again I repeat this stuff happens in Israel and don’t see their cops and soldiers doing this crap on their own people. How many bus bombings have they had and you don’t see them locking down a whole city. Why should we? What does Israel know that the our cops apparently don’t?

They quite regularly call up half to 100% of their reserve military organizations personnel ~ and do stuff ~

Did you lnow that numerous Israeli citizens have automatic weapons?

We have a theory that a well armed citizenry results in a peaceful society ~ so do the Israelis.

Still, you don't see everything that goes on in Israel but if you read the commie rag 'haaretz, they'll tell you about it.

Germany was full of people just like you willing to trade their freedoms for security and we know where it got them.

Again I've I point out such over reaction like locking down citizen and searching there homes are just the type of actions the terrorist want to see. Terror is FEAR and what we saw was gutless fear on the part of those who participated in this disgusting trade of Freedom for security. The terrorist not only won, but clear others were encouraged to see how easily fear is brought to American and watch as people hide and cower before them.

Rush Limbaugh: "You know what Ben Franklin said about this. This is one of my all-time favorite quotes. Benjamin Franklin once said: "People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both." Benjamin Franklin, and that's exactly right. People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both. People willing to trade their freedom for economic security, people willing to give up their dreams, people willing to trade the hard rigors of success in exchange for a modicum of existence will never know success, and their modicum sustenance hangs by a thread based on the good intentions of a government."
