This had all the earmarks of a rightwing terrorist attack. It wasn't. But that doesn't change the fact that it had all the earmarks of one. . . . it still had TONS of evidence pointing to it being a rightwing terrorist attack. The fact that it was not does not change that fact.

Yes, this is a typical prog fallback position: "I was completely and utterly wrong to suspect the opposition, but the mere fact that my first instinct was to suspect them is an indictment* of them, not me."

* In the rhetorical sense, not the 24-business-hour sense

This DUmmie is saying that “the facts of reality” should never be substituted for real facts.
