The almost non existent Obama during all this will suddenly show up and parade all the cops and investigators involved with this terror strike around DC town. The Media will gush about how well Obammy handled this situation, just like he had been there and caught the guy himself! Comparisons will be made between Bush's 9/11 and Obammys. Then the media "analysis" of what is wrong with America and how it turned an innocent little boy into a radical.
Ive stocked up on Gin and antacids for the coming gushing media blitz about Obammy and his leadership.

I think they may have gotten a little wake up call. If that effort couldn’t catch a scared obamaless 19 year old college kid, how well would they do trying to go after a few guys who figured if they were trusted to be armed in Special Forces, they should still be trusted?

The "powers that be" are testing to see how far they can go. Did they shut down Chicago when they were hunting Dillinger? NO! I can see stopping rail and bus, etc. But telling everyone to stay in their homes and seeing how many would actually do it (and did!) is just plain scary.
What would they have done (or tried to do) to people who ignored them?
Especially after an army of LEO’s spent the better part of a full day in an unsuccessful search for a lone, seriously injured 19-year old.
It was only after the search was called off, and the people began moving around, that a civilian was able to find the guy.
Another example of how private citizens are better than bureaucracies.
There will be joy in Bean Town, for all the overtime for 1st responders standing around.
