When my daughter was in 5th grade, in public school, we were so excited to go to our local high school to see their school play. Her teacher told the kids they’d get extra credit to see the play. The first thing I noticed were the “Day of Silence” posters plastered all around the box office. The second thing was the occasional swearing and skimpy outfits on the dancers. During the play, my little girl asked me if she had to swear and dress like that if she ever wanted to be in a play at this school.
We switched to a wonderful Christian school and never looked back.
