Looking for a way to feel good about yourself today? How about re-naming a part of your house so that it stops oppressing the peoples of the world?
That’s what homebuilders are starting to do here in D.C., according to Baltimore Business Journal.
The “master suite” is being phased out — not from our homes, but from our lexicon.

The owner of the home has been called the master of the house for ages. Even in the Bible you’ll see the landowner referred to as master.

When I moved to Alabama, the “Master Bedroom” was referred to as a “Retreat”. Being in the South, I don’t know if “retreat” or “master” is more offensive...

The new term will reflect the socialist movement toward happiness in menial labor. So a let say a doctor will now have to also pick sugar cane or work on a fishing scow putting worms on hooks.
His room will be called the Master-Baiter bedroom. And it will reflect the regimes desire to cut down population growth, especially of European racial types.

I like “master BR”. I’m going to name my “slave closets” to hold winter coats etc. Jeep used to have a “slave clutch”, but it’s an automatic now, brakes once had a “slave cylinder”. Computer had a “slave drive”, once too.
