CNN: Pressure Cooker Bomb 'Right-Wing' Signature
Breibart - Big Journalism ^ | 4-17-2013 | Lee Stranahan

Posted on 04/17/2013 5:47:18 AM PDT by Sir Napsalot

An article published on CNN's website makes an unproven claim that pressure cooker bombs like the ones used at the Boston Marathon terror attack are a 'signature' of 'right-wing extremists.' The article was co-written by Jennifer Roland and Peter Bergen. Bergen is the CNN ananlyst made the claim that right-wing extremists could be behind the bombing less than two hours after it took place.

The article says (emphasis added) :

A senior U.S. counterterrorism investigator told CNN that pressure cooker bombs have also been a signature of extreme right-wing individuals in the United States who he said tend to revel in building homemade bombs.

This specific claim that "pressure cooker bombs have also been a signature of extreme right-wing individuals in the United States" appears to be completely unsubstantiated. Not a single example is given even in the CNN story itself of anyone other than al-Quadea using a pressure cooker bomb.

The article goes on to discuss the Olympic Park bombing by anti-abortion terrorist Erich Rudolph but those bombings were done with pipe bombs, not pressure cooker bombs. .......

The NY Times withheld that information.

They were left wing activists. Look up their names elsewhere. You didn’t expect the Times to reveal that info, did you?

No. Of course not. You can only guess at it.

Young couple, one a doc's daughter, the other artist or artistic type, both dopeyheads, etc etc.

Like I said the article “MADE SURE” their political views or any left-leaning material not be out.

Good point. Thanks.

Even if he is innocent, authorities are looking for guy(s) with dark or black jacket and a backpack. some people should be able to recognize at least one person.

IMO, unless they see someone wandering around with backpack(s) PRIOR to the Marathon they have nothing. Bet the thing was already in place long before people were there at the finish line. Doubt Mr/Ms. Pressure Canner would walk in the open with the thing in their backpack. We would most likely see the person only observing to see what havoc he/she caused.

Like the night before, OR the person was in a grounds keeper-type/uniform that looked like it belonged working there.

You forgot bomb sniffing dogs in the start and finished lines.

I think the planting of the bomb is during Monday, the perp(s) depended on heavy crowd to blend in. And nobody noticed some unattended backpacks or bags during the course of the day.

But you are right, combing through the immediate before and after photos only showed the possible devices, not the perp(s).

About pressure cookers — as a teenager, I had foster grandparents who were poor, hard-working dairy farmers on a 200-acre farm in NY/PA border. Grandma canned almost every thing in a large-size pressure cooker. One day, while she was canning beef the thing blew up. She was not in the kitchen at the time or she would have been killed for sure. The meat stuck in every nook and cranny in that huge old farmhouse kitchen. At the time of her death some years later, we could still find pieces of shredded meat in that kitchen. It was only in recent years I lost enough of that fear to purchase a very small one. Looks like my grandma could have been bombed?

A senior U.S. counterterrorism investigator told CNN ...

As much as I despise CNN - it’s clear that independent thought is not their strong suit - they’re basically just repeating what their handlers are telling them to say. And - I suspect - getting well paid to do so.

That was the New York Times' article, of course, other sources were not so protective of the little left-wing radical heroin addict OCCUPY trust fund baby dears.

The left wing media would like us all to forget about what happens when they arrest some left wing terrorists who are building bombs.

The privileged daughter of a prominent city doctor, and her boyfriend — a Harvard grad and Occupy Wall Street activist — have been busted for allegedly having a cache of weapons and a bombmaking explosive in their Greenwich Village apartment.

Of course, they let these poor misguided lefties off with a slap on the wrist, and the New York Times does not even mention the fact that they were "OCCUPY TERRORISTS". You see, if you are a left winger like Obama's buddy Bill Ayers who killed people with bombs, that's perfectly okay.

These poor dears had some drugs, so must be sent to rehab. Poor babies. Raised in left wing households of privilege and smug righteousness, they were neglected and misguided...

So read below about the left wing bombers that got caught and let off without so much as a day in prison. Poor little privileged left wing trust fund babies...
