Sebelius: We ‘Have Our Hands Full’ with ObamaCare, Can’t Prepare for Immigration Reform Impact

No preparation for a potential influx of 10-12 million people (note: on the low end estimate) into the system.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said her department has its “hands full” with the implementation of the healthcare law and cannot prepare for any immigration reform bill’s impact on health insurance costs.

During a House Ways and Means Committee hearing on Friday, Texas Republican Rep. Kenny Marchant asked Sebelius, “Has HHS made any preparation for how to meet the added cost of providing care for the potential 10 or 12 million people that might gain permanent resident status under any kind of an immigration bill?”

In response, Sebelius said, “Sir, we don’t do anything about what the Congress may or may not do in the future. No sir.”

In an attempt to clarify Sebelius’ position, Marchant said, “So, there’s been no preparation made whatsoever for that large group of people.”

Sebelius, the former governor of Kansas, said, “We are working with the law as it is right now and, believe me, have our hands full to try and make sure that the law of the land is carried out.”

A biparistan group of senators are preparing to introduce immigration reform legislation. Illinois Democratic Senator Dick Durbin said the legislation is likely to be introduced next Tuesday.

"Then create one giant hospital system. All doctors and nurses would work for it. Death panels would kill of 16.7 percent of the elderly each year to keep costs in line."

A recommendation like that should get one an instant job as a top Presidential adviser.

What's next? A 100% tax on all income and wealth to pay for those poor, downtrodden, homeless illegal immigrants unregistered democrats?

As I’ve mentioned in related threads, the states have never delegated to Congress via the Constitution the specific powers to regulate either healthcare or immigration.

It will be 2500 pages and will need to be passed before anyone has a chance to read it.

Interesting. Yous would be in the minority opinion. Most would have thought once the Obamacare bill passed the Congress, signed by Obama, then ‘sanctioned’ by John Roberts, that is the end.

I've searched some of your older postings, and understand your point. But it is not clear to the majority (and I mean MAJORITY) voters/citizens/Americans here. And the power that be are super happy to keep the sheep ignorant.
