Earlier this year when a sixth grade lesson plan asked elementary school students to create a communist flag of America, many parents were outraged.
But dont think for a second that it stopped there. In fact, the indoctrination of young minds supported by officials like Attorney General Eric Holder, who once suggested we must brainwash the second amendment out of American schoolchildren, continues without respite.
In Jacksonville, Florida, a fourth grade student proves, once again, that progressive leaning educators are actively working to redefine what it means to be an American.
The following note was found by the father of a student who recently attended a class in which the kids discussed the U.S. Constitution.

“They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither safety nor liberty.” - Benjamin Franklin
None of us will be safe or secure until we get these leftist indoctrinators out of our school system.
Fourth grade student: “Who’s Benjamin Franklin”?
If this is what the teacheris doing,no wonder kids are bringing guns to school.
Another Fourth Grade Student: “What’s liberty?”
Ditto!

Turning the Kiddies into what they want.
That will place you in the minority. The rest of us want ALL of our rights fully restored.
We're even willing to give up some of our (useless) bloated government in exchange for it!!
There should be an antithesis of the free state project.
Oh, that’s California.
The weak, and those unwilling to make the struggle, soon resign their liberties for the protection of powerful men and paid armies, they begin by being protected, they end by being subjected.

Orwellian. Rights are safety.
Absolutely. They are only safety as long a government upholds them.
Those rights are enduring principles through safe times and dangerous times.
But when a government has been allowed to contemptuously turn its back on the guidelines it was elected to follow and does not feel an invested responsibility in upholding those rights, they can no longer be depended on.
There is no longer any safety in them.
I believe it was in “The Gulag Archipelago” that Alexandr Solzhenitzyn described the Soviet Constitution as the most perfect document to protect the rights of man that was ever constructed. (I am paraphrasing, but it was his Soviet view of that document, as I recall)
They just didn’t pay any attention to it. It was apparently meticulously written, but roundly ignored.
That movie is one of my all time absolute favorite Western movies.
Kevin Costner, well...he really only could do Westerns, anything else was somewhat laughable. And his role in that was perfect for him.
But in my book, there isn’t anyone who can play a cowboy better than Robert Duvall. And his role in this won was superb.
It is a movie about responsibility, loyalty, respect, and character. And boy, did Duvall tie them up in that character. I think I’ll keep my favorite quote as a tagline for a few days...:)
heh, “...this ONE...”
blah, blah, blah... i bet that father continues to send his son to the same school... and will continue to send him to indoctrination centers until he graduates at 18... he has already been doing it for going on 5 years... day in and day out...
