Liberal Arts degrees used to be worth something because it taught people to think critically.
Nowadays, universities don’t want such critical thinking because it would ruin their promotion of propaganda.
IMO if you’re not getting a degree in something applied like Computer Science, Engineering, or Chemistry than it’s essentially taking on 30K of debt for a glorified High School Diploma thanks to grade inflation and lowered standards.
Great point shadow, no room for critical thinking of any sort- they’ll tell you what you need to know (along with what you DON’T need to know...)
Hey thanks for writing off us worthless conservatives who are actually fighting the culture wars!
It’s appreciated!
30k? If you are lucky enough to get some good scholarships, you will be taking on 80-100k of debt. Add another 100k if you are looking at a masters.
