And I did not see any “minorities” on the U.S. swim teams in the last Olympics. Steps must be taken to assure diversity on these teams. Ditto for the Winter sports. Minority members must be recruited and taught how to ski and other winter events. At any rate, minorities must be placed on these teams regardless of ability ( or inability) to assure diversity and that minority children don’t lose self-esteem when watching winter sports and seeing no people who look like them.
