I've always thought the banning of sound suppressors was more egregious than the ban on select fire/full auto weapons. But there again, the fedzilla saw a way toraise revenue, so for a $200 dollar permission letter from nanny fedzilla you can own a suppressor ... of course the permission letter must always be with the tool.

It had nothing to do with revenue. The enforcement efforts always cost more than was brought in by revenue. It has always been a registration and licensing system disguised as a “tax”. Sort of a precursor to Obamacare.

The gun muffler provision never made any sense, except as a way to make guns more obvious when being used. Consider how much “noise” is being used as a way to shut down gun ranges.

This was always just a part of the insane Roosevelt power grab. Roosevelt was our version of Mussolini. The depression ended when his heart stopped beating.

The current recession will likely end when President Obama is out of office.
