I think it may be time to start a new country in the midwest and let the coasts sit in their own mire.

Agree with the major premise about shoring up life locally, but we MUST remedy the WashDC problem or it will continue to consume (and excrete) all liberty, whether resident at the state, local, family, or individual level.

Perhaps we need to do to the fedgov what the liberals are doing to the country...

Yep. When Bush was elected in 2000 I said he just put off the inevitable for four years.

Naw. They are almost out of OPM.
And a good reading of Revelation and Daniel might be in order. I moved to central KY from Seattle a couple years ago in the spirit of Revelation 18:4.

Sitting land-locked in the middle of the country while the ports of entry on the east and west coasts sit in the hands of the ‘’enemy’’ isn’t very smart.

(Defeated) Proposal 3 would require that the state add as many as 13 times more wind turbines in Michigan than currently operate. Proposal 3 would mandate that 25 percent of Michigans energy come from renewable sources. Wind is expected to be the primary supplier of renewable energy if the proposal passes.
Advocates and experts predict 2,300 to 3,790 nearly 500-feet high wind turbines would have to be added to meet the 25-percent mandate. Michigan currently has 292 wind turbines in operation.
Most of Michigan is 'Poor' or 'Marginal' For Wing Energy

The only problem with wind turbines is that we don’t harvest the shredded poultry downstream to feed the starving victims of the Baraqqi Depression.

They didn’t care what it cost or even that it was virtually impossible. They just wanted it in the constitution so they could milk the taxpayers forever.

Because Michigan has had enough, we have Blue States turning Red and some Red States Turning Blue.

I was thinking more along the lines of “blow it up and remake it to our liking,” but I like your idea too. I’m not going to volunteer for DINO duty, though; my water bill would be sky-high from all the showers I would need after spending that much time around Democrats...

The only real advantage the libs have is the media, and that’s a big one. We need to make the current media irrelevant and replace it.
