The "thousands" that may have died becasue of an armed populace doesn't compare with the TENS OF MILLIONS citizens that have died at the hands of their own Socialist governments.
And don't forget that some of those "thousands" are ones who SHOULD have died, who in that socialist tyranny would be MORE free to ply their trade and create MORE misery for innocents. Also, forget not that many more of the thousands are those who put themselves in harm's way, firearm-wise, by their choice of culture and association, and whose deaths, while not really a countable plus like my first group, is certainly no great tragedy, because it was their own choice. Take all those out and what's left is a statistical blip, like the number of people struck by lightning. Nothing to make policy on unless you're stupid as a Democrat. Shall we outlaw lightning next?
