In a state like Rhode Island that prohibits private sales, I think it would be great if 2nd Amendment supporters and gun enthusiatists set up tables outside offering to “Appraise Your Guns for Free” and have lists of FFL dealers where they could sell their used guns.

If people find out their guns are worth a lot more than the $50 to $200 offered at the Non-Mandatory Confiscations, they might well take the time to sell them for fair market value.
