The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco - the most liberal in the nation - struck down Arizona's citizenship requirement. The Supreme Court granted review of the case on October 15th, 2012.

If the argument is state law cannot be more stringent then fed law, will the same logic apply to gun control laws, since gun ownership is now a right like voting.
