I don’ think there is going to be any widespread confiscation of firearms. We keep engaging in this “Unintended Consequences” fantasy because we wish the liberals would allows us to literally destroy them.
Instead they are going to stick to what has been working and continue the propaganda. They are going to continue to suspend the kiddies for even thinking about guns. Holder let the cat out of the bag some time ago when he stated that people need to be brain washed about guns in the same way people were brainwashed about tobacco.
That’s is why simply buying guns and ammo isn’t enough to stop these tyrants. If that is all we do then one day we will all be sitting on a pile of guns and ammo with no freedom.

Instead they are going to stick to what has been working...How has it been working?
The Dem/libs have been engaging in a steady push to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms for decades. And this is how it has been working out for them in the last two decades...
- The percentage of Americans who own guns has increased.
- The percentage of Americans who believe we have a right to own guns has increased.
- The number of guns owned per gun owner has increased.
- The amount of ammunition possessed per gun owner has increased.
- Concealed carry laws have spread from state to state like wildfire.
- Castle Doctrine laws have been passed in numerous states that didn't have them.
- Stand Your Ground laws have been passed in more states than had them before.
- Gun rights lobbying groups have become a cottage industry unto themselves sprouting up like mushrooms after a rainstorm.
- In the worst economy since the Great Depression the firearms industry can't keep up with orders or expand fast enough.
- 65.4 Million Guns Bought Since Obama Took Office, 91% More Than Bush's First-Term Total
And in the last two months... (Dec. 2012 and Jan. 2013)

Tobacco, unlike firearms, aren’t a means to an end or a gaurantor of other rights, and many gun-owners and non-gun-owners intuit that. That’s the difference, IMO.

They are never going to confiscate guns.
They are just going to keep the “guns are bad” meme in our schools until, in a few generations, gun ownership will make you and your family social pariahs.
