This is just more loot the rich Reparations stuff.
The alleged crimes occurred before the lifetimes of the named principals, and the goal appears to be the confiscation of assets, not "justice".
You can't right a past wrong by punishing people who had nothing to do with it.

Absolutely not. It does nothing, but attempts to reopen long-healed and often forgotten wounds. Though, for those pontificating, morally superior Canadians who may be lurking about; I have seen some treatment of Indians in Canada (Upper Ontario) that made me blush and wince. Canada has no room to talk aboot the US.
Our Westward Expansion just got more media helped, of course, by a still smarting Britain.
