Although I have yet to ‘jump on the B Woodward’ bandwagon, I still feel he is a LIB whose task in life is/was to make life miserable for R’s in General.
The GOOD thing about this fiasco is Woodward IS a household name as ‘they’ continue to keep him in the forefront as the demise of R M Nixon was considered the ‘greatest coup’ in the history of the Republic.
As to the Bandwagon, I also trust Dick Morris about as far as I can throw him, put Greta on that list, Rivera, O’Reilly and Hannity (I couldn’t ‘take’ him from back in the days when either he or his handlers didn’t think he would/could make it without Colmes)....
Just because they are on FOX doesn’t make them a Republican, MUCH less a Conservative.
Fox right now is what we got, not much conservative alternates out there.

In a way Plouff is right. Woodward was never anything other than a disgusting leftist political hack pretending to be a news man. As the leftists get more brazen Woodward no longer has the stomach for his designated role as fascist lickspittle. Thus, in the only role he ever took he is becoming washed up.

I wish I could share your optimism, but with what I’ve seen from the Obama media in the last 4 years, count me as skeptical.
But it is refreshing to see optimism, even if I don’t buy it yet. :)
Yet, Plouff is wrong on one fact. If Woodward was ever liberal, it was the old style liberalism, not this radical stuff we see today.

I sort of agree with Plouffe that Woodward is a has been, because I think Woody is just a slo-mo mentally challenged writer who along with Bernstein stumbled into a story that all-the-liberal-powers-that-be egged on in DC at the time and brought down a sitting President. My opinion of Plouffe? Well, I’d say he’s a poofter even though he’s married.
Regardless, the establishment media would be forced to throw away their ICON of rebellion and accountability against the evil (Republican) powers-that-be.
An interesting conundrum of ideals. On the one hand, totally discredit their revisionist history wrt Nixon (and everything he wrote on Reagan and Bush(s), or discredit their “Magic Negro” [term originated by the LA Times] Obama.
In any case, we are about to find out whether the establishment liberal Media will rally behind Woody, or will they continue on as Mr. Obama’s prison b!tch where they’re certain to spend the majority of their time on their knees doing things they really don’t like.
I'll never forget the Bill Casey crap. He claimed Bill Casey took him into his confidence on his death bed. His wife and daughter said it never happened. That one of them was always in the room with Casey during his final days in the hospital.
Why he's decided to go after Obama, I don't know. Maybe he senses that Obama is finally vulnerable and the first journalists to start printing the truth will be extolled as heroes for telling the truth. Who knows. He isn't trustworthy, but it's nice to see someone from the left finally challenging some of the lies Obama tells.
But with another WH staffer going all pit bull on twitter it will be interesting to see if Woodward lets it slide or doubles down.
